The Future History of the Universe: interactive installation
media: interactive video construct

The Future History of the World is an interactive environment that invites viewers to reconstruct history and shape the future. Borders respond to movement; timelines can be activated and changed. With the wave of the hand or by one's migration through space, the individual shapes history. Video components include personal stories, songs, and visuals from around the globe. The Future History of the World offers a model of history based on people, not governments. Borders fluctuate in a sea of calm. This history is not firm, not etched in memory, but fluid and sometimes forgotten.
